'Homeless without you' - Released September 2013

Back in 2007, I was interested in 3 things. Music, words, and girls. Naturally this is why I started a solo music career, because all my songs, at the time, were the marriage of these things.
I was heavy on the myspace usage, and a back and forth personal message conversation between myself and the object of my affection had been playing out for some time. Girls are not objects… but that is a saying… so shoosh.

During the acquainting I found out three things that interested me. This girl had told me "When i'm into a boy, i find myself getting lost on the phone with them and end up drawing all over my clothes". This made me write down the line "I want to make you draw on your clothes"
She also told me, "I think homeless people are really cute" I found the endearing and added to my notebook "I'd be homeless for you". Lastly, her favourite word was resplendent - an adjective meaning attractive and impressive through being richly colourful or sumptuous. In that, I had the beginning of my chorus.

Fast forward to 2011 and I've had the song 'Resplendently' tucked away in a notebook, unplayed for a few years now. When demoing for a new record, I decided to re-visit it. It's biggest problem was it was too specific to this girl. What does 'I'd be homeless for you' even mean, really? So i revised. I decided that feeling 'homeless' when a special person is not around is implying that you feel 'at home' with them, and that is a nice idea. I decided that 'I want to make you draw on your clothes' could be replaced by 'I want to fill my drawers with your clothes' implying that I'd like you to drop everything and move into my house. This all seemed a little more relatable and suddenly the song was back in my good books - figuratively, because it remained in the same song book it began in.

That year I played the song in the US and a friend said "It sounds like you want to put my clothes into your underpants" - so that's an amusing aside.

I hate bio's. A list of things I've done or am about to do seems antiquated. As if telling you that I once was paid a handsome sum to play at an after school care program is going to compel you to listen to my music or call me and hand me a multi million dollar record contract.
At this point, musically, I have no interest in telling you where I've been or where I'm going. What matters is what I'm doing and who I am right now.
The answer to both of those is this song.
And it's out now!

I'm currently studying at the school of life, and running for class captain.

My name is Broni, I'm from Australia. I'm a singer songwriter. All my songs are free and I have a new one out soon, that's all ya need.

Nice to meet you, we'll probably like each other.
